In this hands-on summer series, students will build confidence, strengthen kitchen safety habits, and expand their culinary skills while preparing dishes they can proudly recreate at home. The class is structured for teens who are ready to work with greater independence, take ownership of their cooking, and think more creatively about food.



Each week builds on foundational techniques while introducing more advanced skills, flavor combinations, and problem-solving in the kitchen. Students will collaborate, experiment, and learn to cook with intention—developing both technical ability and the confidence to explore their own ideas.



July 15-August 19

Wednesdays| 10–11 AM



Students are encouraged to wear an apron or clothes that can get a little messy, closed-toe sneakers (no sandals, please), and to bring a knife they feel confident using. Each class concludes with time to enjoy the food they’ve prepared together.



Please note: Weekly plans are intentionally flexible. Menus and skills will adapt to the students’ experience levels, interests, and enthusiasm—making each session responsive, engaging, and just a little bit magical.
